For awhile, I had another brand of antenna hooked up. I am picking up the following analog channels a religious station from North Pole, CBS, USA, TBS, AampE. I pick up all of my local HDDTV channels. This means it can only sit on a table in the middle of nowhere.
What a waste of time and money just to get an antenna for your HDTV, what a joke. Im extremely pleased with its sleek design, ease of use, and solid performance. Getting one broadcast meant losing others. In fact, they do not rotate at all theyre fixed in one direction. Very easy to use and the RF remote is a blessing for fine tuning from afar. Radio Shack offers a 30 day money back customer satisfaction policy. It has the best reception I have experienced so far.NBC comes in crystal clear and so does FOX. The station at 23 miles is dicey, and I sometimes get too many drops to be tolerable. I use a separate antenna for 2 Cleveland VHF stations. This HDTV antenna is as good as they come for an indoor antenna. I use a UHFVHF combiner also from Radio Shack. Rooftop rotator alone costs more than this entire unit. I now get all locals in 65 or more, which means they all come in perfectly. So I thought Id try this one, since it can be adjusted remotely. With this antenna, I receive them ALL in HD. After the struggle it failed miserably at tuning in digital signal. Very Easy to program settings per channel. I can pick up these stations with the unit TURNED OFF. The Stations all are 12 to 22 miles away and Im getting 75 or higher signal on all the locals. For awhile, I had another brand of antenna hooked up. I am picking up the following HD channels NBC, ABC, FOX, two PBS stations, and the CW. I was able to pull in more HD channels than this fancy one.Orlando channels are trial and error, moving it to different locations can help. I am pretty impressed with the channels considering I live in the middle of the room. It is RF, not IR though. Again, its the tuning feature of the TV that will be important. I use a universal remote with RF. I have not tried it.
